You are here: My Site Stories

Here is the story:

When I joined Myspace.com, I just couldn't change my profile. It got to the point to where my head could just blow up! I saw some not-so-well crafted CSS tutorial on Myspace. Nothing was working.

Then, I finally cracked the code. After I did, I realized that someone else would have trouble with profile editing like the way that I did. So, I started this website. I at first used a very simple site builder that just didn't have all the features that I needed to make my website work. So, I learned the HTML and CSS codes that are needed to make a web site. Then, I busted the Javascript language, the perfect language to make a site on Freewebs because freewebs did not permit any form of server-side code (like PHP, JSP, and ColdFusion [CFM]) So, since I had a lot of time, I built all of these pages and generators and published them here.

In the beginning of October, 2007, I transfered this domain name, ChaseSpaceOnline.com to another registrar. That new registrar actually has some more useful features, and supports ASP code. They provide ASP features such as file upload and email creation and sending, both of which I have utilized so far. Although all browsers don't support all script in the same way, and server-side code would potentially solve that problem, i still decided to stick to JavaScript, since I am most familiar with it for doing code generation. I know the language well, and, although not supported correctly by Firefox, a getting-popular-fast browser, the code contained on this site will generate cool pages when used in Internet Explorer. I may decide to design for firefox, but for now, I will set up warnings to tell you about the page status of pages that may not support your browser.

But I will tell you now, the borders on my pages look much cooler in Internet Explorer. But they will still be partially functional in Firefox. Forget Netscape, I used it, and it sucks.

So, When you visit this site:

You can click on a link on the home page to go to the location specified. A lot of my content is devoted to Myspace setup. Use the links to find my content. I have a variety of generators avaliable. I also have a tutorial avaliable for you people who want to learn HTML yourself.

In the future, I may take a look and see if it is possible to edit the appearance of a FaceBook profile. I am aware that that site is growing in popularity, and may, very soon, catch up to MySpace.
